Life has an interesting way of coming around full circle.

Just ask Ashley Huerta, who grew up in neighboring Harnett County before PCS moves for her husband’s military career led them to Colorado, Missouri, Washington state, Georgia and then back to North Carolina where he will soon retire. Along with their three children and two dogs, the family have happily put down roots in Moore County.

Ashley has put the experience to work for her by assisting home buyers and sellers in the greater Sandhills area surrounding Fort Liberty. She is proudly based at award-winning Coldwell Banker Advantage in Southern Pines/Pinehurst.

“I want to help others find their place to create memories, have reassurance that they will be OK during a transition and feel calm when in stressful times,” she says.

First-time home buyers and new construction are specialties, which go hand-in-hand with the military market. Ashley is committed to not only finding solutions, but also quick follow-up and an attention to details for all her clients.

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, she honed her skills working in property management and customer service positions.

When she isn’t working, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, including road trips to the beach and camping in the mountains. She also has a passion for interior design and architecture and, especially, cooking dishes that reflect her heritage – Korean and German – as well as cuisine inspired by other cultures.

Causes close to her heart include supporting charities that focus on veterans, military families, and autism awareness.

When asked to describe herself in five words, Ashley thoughtfully responds: “Caring, honest, thorough, determined and understanding.”
